At the end of said video, the Finnish developers also teased their next title, showing a boy with complex contraptions along the wall of his room. If you were expecting more high-flying fowl, you may be disappointed. It turns out that Rovio is working on a completely new game, sans birds of any kind.

Dubbed “Amazing Alex,” the game closely resembles the Rub Goldberg-style gameplay of another game called “Casey’s Contraptions” — an intellectual property Rovio recently purchased. In that game, players build contraptions (ala Apparatus in the Play Store) and attempt to complete various tasks like getting a ball from point A, to point B. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong. In an interview with YLE, Rovio CEO Mikael Hed revealed Amazing Alex will maintain Rovio’s “high quality standard” that Rovio fans have come to expect from the 1 billion download and counting Angry Birds team. He also mentioned the word “educational,” but I’m sure that had more to do with the amount of creativity and brain power required to solve the puzzles in the game.

No word on a release date for Amazing Alex, but we imagine it wont be too long. Any of you burnt out on Angry Birds? Think Amazing Alex shows some promise?

Mobile game developer, Gameloft will launch the next installment of its popular Asphalt series soon. To be called as Asphalt 7 Heat, the racing game will be available for both the iOS and Android operating system based tablets and smartphones.

Asphalt 7 is the second high profile game to be announced by Gameloft after MIB 3 (Men in Black 3) which is to be launched on May 17 for iOS and Android devices. The Asphalt 7 Heat will be later made available for BlackBerry PlayBook as well.Asphalt 7 Heat will bring in better graphics and much more immersive game play as compared to its older version.Notably, Samsung Galaxy SIII is to come with Asphalt 7 Heat pre-installed on it.

Gameloft, one of the largest mobile game developers, will release the official game for the movie ‘Men In Black III’ (MIB III) on May 17 for Android and iOS platforms. The game will be available for free for the users of iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets.For the first time ever, you will be in charge of your own MIB agency. Men in Black 3 is an upcoming American 3D science fiction, comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to the 2002 film Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, almost ten years after the release of its predecessor and fifteen years after the release of the original Men in Black.In “Men in Black 3,” Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. The game is based on the same story line and promises to be an action packed entertainer.

Zynga has launched yet another game – ZombieSmash, for the Android platform. Zynga classifies this new game as a ‘Survival Comedy’ game that involves physics based gameplay. Basically, the user has to tap the way out of the horde of the Zombies. With four distinct game modes, the ZombieSmash offers enough weaponry to kill the zombies that try to eat your brains.

Yet another addictive appearing game from Zynga once again taps the Gore/Horror genre of gaming with slightly comical take. ZombieSmash features four game modes which are being complimented with original soundtrack produced by famous game music composer – Chris Hulsbeck.Game play involves interesting and creative destruction tools like wrecking balls, asteroids, liquid nitrogen and giant rolling boulder. Zynga has used sophisticated physics to execute the zombie deaths using any of the aforementioned tools. Proprietary SplatterEngine has been used to display the Zombie blood and gore.

The campaign mode involves the player to spend and survive over 31 days against the zombie threats and then spend another 30 days at the New Camp Nowhere campaign. For those who are up for a challenge can engage into the Endless Seige Mode that involves knocking out endless number of zombies till you’re dead and hit the highest possible number of body count.

Sandbox Mode gives all the weapons of destruction for totally wiping out the zombies. Finally the Bonus Nights mode requires hack and slash style game play and is unlocked only through extended gameplay and loads of points.

ZombieSmash is available in the Google Play Store for Rs. 52.13 only and might require downloading extra files over the data network. Hence, using a Wi-Fi connection is recommended.

Rovio Mobile’s recently released Angry Birds Space has received 10 new levels, taking the tally to 70. Released earlier in March this year, the game is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It is also available for BlackBerry PlayBook.

Angry Birds Space is the new version of the Angry Birds game set in the outer space where the birds are fighting to rescue their eggs from the pigs. Rovio has added more twists and challenges based on physics with zero gravity, asteroids, smaller planets to make the game play exciting as well as challenging.

The game, in contrast with the earlier versions like the Angry Birds original game and Angry Birds Rio, comprises of new birds and super powers with different puzzles. This game also adds a new Lazer bird with its own unique power to knock off the obstacles.

The company has also promised to bring 30 exclusive different levels under Danger Zone, only to the Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone users. However, Samsung has delayed the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Galaxy Note till second quarter of this year. The Danger Zone levels are expected to arrive with that update itself.

The Angry Birds Space game for Android works on Android 1.6 or higher. Whereas the Angry Birds Space game for iOS devices requires iOS 4.0 update from Apple App Store.

The new James Bond game features missions spanning six different movies from the franchise’s history, including upcoming release Skyfall.
007 Legends will tie together the famous movie missions with a brand new overarching story.

The game will feature numerous weapons and vehicles, as well as notorious villains and Bond girls.

It also contains four-person, split-screen multiplayer, and sees the return of the Mi6 Ops missions, which made their debut in Goldeneye 007: Reloaded.

Combining stealth and all-out action, players can tackle the Mi6 Ops missions as both Bond and the villains.

007 Legends is being developed by Eurocom, the team behind the recent Goldeneye 007: Reloaded release.

A remake of the beloved N64 game, Goldeneye 007: Reloaded first appeared on the Wii, before launching on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

A Skyfall video game tie-in was rumoured earlier this year, alongside a number of additional celebrations to mark the movie franchise’s 50th anniversary.

007 Legends releases later this year for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Electronic Arts is pitching the idea of a film based on the racing franchise around Hollywood, according to the sources.

John Gatins (writer on Real Steel) is said to be in talks with the publisher about developing the project for the big screen, based on a pitch by George Gatins (executive producer on She’s Out of My League). Warner Bros, Sony and Paramount have been linked with the film, with the latter leading the chase.

Transformers helmer Michael Bay previously directed a trailer for the latest entry in the racing series, Need for Speed: The Run. It is yet to be confirmed whether he will be involved in the movie.

Need for Speed: The Run was released for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS and PC in November 2011 in North America and Europe.

EA is yet to officially confirm that the franchise will be adapted for cinema.

Rockstar North is yet to comment on the rumour, and the information has since been taken offline.

An October launch would coincide with the release of publisher Take-Two‘s BioShock Infinite, and mark the one-year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V‘s surprise announcement.

Despite rumours suggesting a summer release, Rockstar North has remained tight-lipped, promising more details in the coming weeks and months.

The game takes place in the city of Los Santos and its surrounding hills, countryside and beaches. Its lead character is thought to be a man named Albert De Silva, played by Ned Luke.

Gameplay

In Temple Run, you’re an Indiana Jones doppelganger who can’t stop running. Clutching a golden icon in your hands, your goal is to stay out of the clutches of evil eagle-gorilla hybrid monster things (hey, it’s a casual game) and avoid obstacles in your path by tilting and swiping your way through levels. Temple Run is far more engaging than Angry Birds or Cut the Rope because because your hero can only run, jump, and slide, but not stop, so the only way you can look away from your screen is by pausing. Sadly, the Android version crashed often enough in my testing to seriously detract from the fun.

Roms

The simple 3-D graphics make use of a very distinguishable color palate for a unique look. The drum-based-tribal music definitely sets the right tone. Completing bonus objectives for a higher multiplier just to go for an even longer run is a fun and vicious cycle. This game is a mega hit for a reason. I definitely would not call it a perfect game. It can be exceedingly frustrating at times, especially as you turn the corner and die on hazards before you even have time to react. It doesn’t happen all that often, but regardless, the game will have you coming back for more, over and over and over again.

For such a simple game, the graphics are surprisingly detailed. The setting of the entire game is a foggy moat surrounded by motionless water. Obstacles include mossy rocks, cliffs, burning arches, and wooden docks, and they all look great. In my testing, the game looked much brighter the Galaxy Nexus S than on the iPhone 4, though sharpness wasn’t noticeably different.

Coins and Power Ups
The real fun starts when you run through enough of the coins on your path to activate power-ups. Power-ups serve different purposes—the first one you get is a Coin power up, which increases the value of coins you collect. A popular power-up is Invisibility, which lets your character plow through obstacles and effectively eliminates the need to worry about swiping. You can use your coins to buy utilities. A popular one is Resurrect, which lets you immediately restart from where you die, rather than at select save points along your path.

Coins can also be used to change your wallpaper or character. There are seven characters total, and the only differences are in their clothes and gender. You can cheat on coins, if you’ve got the cash.

Cons

From what we can see some users are experiencing different issues, one is having to restart the app every third round, while the other is due to unresponsive buy/upgrade buttons. We can also see that the tilt is a little more sensitive and delayed when compared to the iOS version, as well as the coins that are meant to show being delayed from time to time.

However the biggest issue is something that we have seen time and again with Android, and that’s not being compatible on all Android devices – it’s for this reason why I will never take the plunge over to the darkside, because even though the iPhone is limited when compared to Android, at least I never have this kind of hassle – although there are other features that us iOS users have to trade-off.

There are ways around this issue of not being compatible, such as downloading from bazaarandroid but you need to have Aptoide installed first. So we can see that there are a few minor issues but overall the game has been well received, and anyway you shouldn’t moan – not as if you had to pay for the app is it.

Your Device Pays a Price. Yes, the awesome graphics and slick game play were too good to be true. The app killed my battery life. On a Galaxy Nexus my battery went down to four percent from 80 percent; in our testing the device got about six hours of video playback. My phone had also started to heat up.

It is an highly addictive game, but it won’t make me delete any other game at-least not until they fix few serious bugs. The game is available totally free from the market, so we recommend highly to try it in your devises. Another problem we faced is the game isn’t compatible with all the devises, only high end devises supporting game right now.

We tried game with two devices, LG Optimus and Samsung Galaxy SL. In these SG SL installed and played game smoothly, but LG Optimus declined to get install itself.

Sometimes it seems as if no matter how much we have, we still want more and that’s exactly what Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds are banking on.

From the first ever Angry Birds game, custom made t-shirts, to stuffed toys and now the latest version of the game, Angry birds Space, which is already at  the #1spot in over 99 countries.

Gameplay

The gameplay, thankfully, still keeps to the Angry Birds tradition with all the existing birds and notorious pigs at war with each other. The birds will be shot though a slingshot towards the pigs to dethrone them. But in Space the pigs now come dressed in robotic suits through a wormhole and steal the birds’ eggs. The birds must then fly through the wormhole to try and stop them. But unlike in the previous editions of the game (Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio,) the birds do not fly true, so you have to adjust your shots by taking into account the forces of gravity. Environmental obstacles and the birds’ unique powers must also be added to the equation, but when you successfully fling a bomb bird into an asteroid field, you’ll realize it was worth all the trouble! The right combination of these powerful elements is crucial if you are to get a high score and maximum stars for each level.

Whats new…???

Space also introduces to four new worlds: Pig Bang, Cold Cuts, Danger Zone, and Eggsteroids. Collecting golden eggs will open a portal that will take the Angry Birds to special video game inspired stages. These stages pay homage to other video games such as Space Invaders, Super Mario Bros and Arkanoid.

It also debuts some new birds. The yellow bird has now been transformed into a purple triangular bird which can be aimed in any direction on double tapping once released. Then there’s the Ice Bird which turns any structure into a good portion of ice, making it easier for other birds to easily break through. It also provides the Mighty Eagle option.

The background music is pretty neat with variations of the Angry Birds theme that now employs brilliant sci-fi effects. The sounds of the birds and the pigs largely remain the same as in the earlier editions.

Roms

The question we are sure everyone would be asking is with Space what could Rovio possible bring in so that their massive audience and fans are not bored. The Angry Birds franchise has tried to maintain freshness with variations in levels and the addition of new birds to fling at foes. The addition of zero gravity and the gravity-enabled planets gives an excellent break from the simple slingshot experience of the past iterations of Angry Birds.

What I loved most about Angry Birds Space is that the level of difficulty is just right enough to offer multiple hours of challenge. And being the fourth iteration of the game, saturation levels aren’t even close. You won’t feel like giving your device a break as you constantly try to bend the laws of physics and avenge those birds.

I found the stages quite challenging with the introduction of the gravitational field concept. The birds are launched from an asteroid surface that curves around 360 degrees while the huge halos have a deteriorating gravity field within.

Certain levels have more than one gravity field and requires you to aim in such a way that the bird goes through one field in one direction and the other way in another field to finally hit the target. If you miss the pigs, the birds are seen flying into outer space and disappearing from the screen.

Some levels also have golden eggs hidden on certain surfaces. If you manage to aim correctly, they immediately take you through a warp zone to play a bonus level.

Cons

One disappointing fact is that the free Android version of the game consumes way too much battery life, thanks to the ads appearing on the screen every now and then. There are limited worlds in the free version and once you’re done with them, you’d definitely want more. You can however purchase Angry Birds Space Premium from the Google Play if you’d like an ad-free experience.

Extremely addictive and best of all Angry Birds games. I was not really huge fan of Angry Birds Series, now i am because of this one game.

Rovio has promised more levels in the coming months, so you will definitely be flinging birds in space for a long time. Waiting for the next update.
